earthhouse is a design office in Fremantle, Western Australia. Established by Giles Hohnen, an artist and builder, it has evolved from specialising in rammed earth construction to designing cost-efficient, passive-solar buildings that incorporate a range of materials. In recent years earthhouse has become a collaborative design studio, employing a diverse and passionate architectural team.  Their focus is on designing buildings that respond intelligently to their environment while being elegant, practical and comfortable spaces in which to work and live.
